About the Role
For patients who seek care from Vori Health, we will deliver both virtual and in-person care. Our Advanced Practice Providers will initially focus on virtual care but in the future may also see patients on site. We are developing our onsite network partners, actively curating a network of medical specialists in communities, who will partner with us to coordinate and deliver exceptional patient-centered care.
Advanced Practice Providers who will thrive at Vori are comfortable with continuous process improvement and a culture rich in feedback, activities required to take Vori to the next level of providing an exceptional patient experience. This means that the the tools you use to provide care are frequently updated and improved and you will be asked to provide feedback, on occasion, to our engineering teams on new products and product updates.
Your role at Vori is to be an effective and engaged member of our multiprovider and multidisciplinary team. The focus is on high-quality care, an outstanding patient experience, practice efficiency, cost effectiveness, and a service level consistent with Voya standards. This position includes triaging, treating and guiding patients through their care journey –we want all our APPs implementing modern behavioral change methods to delivery life changing care for our patients.
Responsibilities
· Work closely with a diverse team of care providers including physical therapists, health coaches, nurses, physicians while assisting in the patient’s care pathway through triage, diagnosis and treatment via multiple lines of communication including video, texting, and digital platform. Care including proactively providing both medical and wellness education, diagnosing and treating patients via our online platform, including recommending suitable treatment plans and considering cost-effective treatment modalities, and assisting in care coordination and onsite visit planning for both urgent and non-urgent patient visits.
· Providing an exceptional patient experience in telehealth interactions, including the highest evidence based, quality care recommended and patient-forward communication and messaging with which care is delivered.
· Assessing quality of care deliver through giving and receiving regular feedback on individual member cases and VOYA performance metrics
Qualifications
· A Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or PA with a minimum of 2 years of musculoskeletal care experience
· Nurse Practitioners or PAs who are licensed (or the potential to license) in any of the following states:
MT, WY, CO, NM, AZ, UT, ID, WA, OR, NV, CA
· Nurse Practitioners or PAs who are motivated by Voya’s mission to make preventive care a bigger part of patient lives, and who enjoy practicing in telehealth care environments.
· A hardworking, detail-oriented individual with the ability to problem solve independently, reaching out for help / support on patient cases, as needed.
· A caring, compassionate individual who enjoys helping others and providing a positive care experience in a telemedicine platform.
· Care providers who are flexible and interested in working in a telemedicine environment with frequent change / product improvements, and who are extremely comfortable using new technology and software.
· Nurse Practitioners or PAs who are used to balancing multiple, concurrent patient cases, and who are comfortable giving and receiving feedback to grow in their roles.
· Advanced computer skills including typing speed, email, internet research, downloading and uploading files, and working in multiple browser windows.
· Availability to work a varied schedule with daytime, evening, and night shifts during the week and every third weekend on-call which will decrease with growth of the company.

· Ability to work in multiple technology platforms simultaneously, using professional and clinical judgment and critical thinking in accessing and documenting information that pertains to each patient’s referral process.

· Strong communication, customer service and people skills; the ability to connect with all stakeholders (patients, doctors, nursing staff, clinic staff)
· Familiarity with behavioral change coaching and communication methods and/or willing to learn from our team of world class experts on behavioral change.
