Hello Cortex Community Nurses –
Announcing a new remote opportunity with Cortex!
Cortex is on standby to provide inbound phone support in the event of a hurricane
in Florida. If/when we are activated to provide phone support our hours will most likely be from 7am – 7pm EST / 7 days a week & will provide support for as long as needed. (It could be a couple of week or a month+) We’ll be providing inbound phone support for customers of an insurance company. Although this isn’t typical nursing work – we know that nurses will be amazing and empathetic while speaking with these customers who need help.
Hurricane Season is from June 1st – November 30th
Job duties include but are not limited to
Providing exceptional customer service phone support
Answering customers questions and help file insurance claims
Completing required 8 hr training course upon activation
Able to work within 72 hours after activation & work for up to one month +
Qualifications
Must be a U.S. licensed registered nurse
Proficient with computers
Strong interpersonal skills, quickly building trust and rapport with customers
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Reliable

Pay Rate
