  • Become a part of a fantastic team of nurses screening health plan members who may need behavioral help before a crisis.
  • Work in a call center atmosphere assessing the clinical status of patients referred by our Healthcare contracts.
  • Through a brief scripted screening, the Screener will assist in the detection of at-risk patients for behavioral health related conditions.
  • If the screening indicates the possible presence of a behavioral health condition, the Screener will be responsible for scheduling an in-home assessment by a licensed clinical practitioner.

Payment: $17.00 / consultation

Program Description:

The EmpowerDX program provides patients who take an at-home COVID-19 test and receive a positive or inconclusive test result with a mandatory telemedicine follow-up visit by phone. 

Jointly run under SteadyMD and Nurse-1-1, this program provides a supervising physician through SteadyMD if needed, professional liability insurance, and payment of $17 per successfully completed patient consultation or $10 if unable to connect with the patient. The work can be done remotely from home. Each provider has full control over their availability and when they choose to answer a consult request. MDs, NPs and PAs will be conducting synchronous phone visits to discuss positive test results and provide guidance for asymptomatic and symptomatic patients experiencing mild, moderate and severe symptoms. The program does not require prescribing of any kind. Calls are expected to take 5-10 minutes.

Provider Qualifications:

  • NPs with an active NPI and state license to practice clinical care with prescriptive authority in any of the following states: Montana, Nebraska, Alaska, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware and Rhode Island. Nurse practitioners must have a minimum of 3 months of clinical experience
  • PAs with an active NPI and state license to practice clinical care with prescriptive authority in any of the following states: Montana, Nebraska, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware and Rhode Island. Physician assistants must have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
  • Each provider will be hired as a 1099 contractor and sign a Professional Services Agreement with SteadyMD.
